Got to play Twin Creeks for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my round. The course was in nice shape but what I liked the most was the layout - the way it fit my eye. It's a good course and fun to play.

This is my regualr golf course. I really enjoy the layout. It is challenging but offers opportunities to use every club in your bag. The greens are undulating but not too fast or too slow. Most greens are elevated to prevent that old Texas favorite play, the bump and run approach shot. There are soime wide open fairways and some very tight fairways. There is a fair amount of water in play. There are more than enough sand traps. The traps have been very hard packed this year due to an unusual amount of rain. Most of the course drains well but the traps can be a problem. The negatives of the course are that they have too many tournaments on the weekends which tends to slow down play, and make it difficult to get a favorable tee time. The course is expensive on the weekend ($65) if you don't have one of their frequent player cards. Withn the carde it is much more reasonable. The staff is friendly and the food is very good but simple.

Could be much better if they put sand in the traps instead of hard packed dirt. Also, they do not have as many water coolers on the course as they used to--all were empty by 3 pm on a 95 degree day, which made the course much less enjoyable. If they re-invested a few dollars in this course, it could be something special.

Look forward to playing it again in spring / summer. Not much green grass on fairways or greens.

Twin Creeks is a daily fee course developed around an upscale housing development. It is generally in good to excellent condition from tee to green with rare exceptions. It has excellent, well maintained facilities. The course is a good one for golfers of all skill levels, as difficulty is mostly a matter of what tees are played. It has a moderate variety of terrain, with creeks and trees scattered all around the course. Some holes are very memorable and others are less so. In a few areas, houses are being built too close to the course, but they are more of a distraction than a hazard. Prime time green fees have been going up there in the last year or so, making the cost to value ratio (for this area) somewhat worse.

We played on Labor Day and got clipped for weekend/Holiday pricing.
I play this course often and really enjoy the layout. Some holes are extremely difficult but others are easy. Holes number 7 and 17 are really challenging. The course is an Arnold Palmer layout and has some interesting differences to the holes. Lots of water in play. Bunkers could be in better condition. Greens are fast, but well maintained. Rough is erratic, some are a little too dry.
Clubhouse has one of the best burgers in Texas.
Pro shop is too expensive. Driving range is too close to Holes #1 and #18.
It is best to join their Lone Star Club if you are going to play this course very often. With it the Green fee is always $10 less and drops to an avg. of $39 per round after 11:30 on weekends and during the week.

An average course for an above average price.

Too much play , and no adherence to dress code. You could play in the nude if you have the $$$$ and you may wait 30 mins past your tee time to get a cart, and then it may die on you

How can you say anything but "good" things about the course when you make a hole-in-one on #6! The staff is very courteous and freiendly and make you want to come back.
